Every year, many people lose their lives in the workplace after being struck or crushed by forklifts. More specifically, these people are described as pedestrians since they are moving around the facilities on foot.

When forklifts maneuver in production areas, traffic aisles or warehouses, safety measures must be taken to protect workers who are moving around and working nearby.

Target Audience

It is intended for all members of the hierarchical line, such as internal and external workers, technical staff and tradespeople.

Training Goal

  • Recognize the risks related to the presence of forklifts in your work environment;

  • Understand the factors that contribute to accidents between forklifts and pedestrians;

  • Know the requirements relating to pedestrian safety;

  • Take the appropriate precautions when working around forklifts to ensure your safety.
